IAG's Sale 66 Realises $3.9 Million!!

Sale 66
, our "Strongest Ever Record Breaking Sale" is now completed. Just a Few Sold Highlights include $254,150 for a 100 Pound Specimen 1914, and a new World Record Price for a Holey Dollar with lot 364 bringing $242,650. A set of Pre Federation Bank of Adelaide Specimens sold for $175,950, a Type 2 Decimal Specimen Set sold for $278,875, and a nice Adelaide Pound Type II realised $116,150, whilst a Type 12 Kookaburra Penny was a New Record at $71,300. Pre Decimal Proofs were also strong with a 1916 Florin knocked down for $50,600 and a 1935 Penny $37,950. Pre Decimal Coins in High Grade were extremely strong, many selling for Double Plus current catalogue prices! A Pair of 10/-s 1918 aUNC sold for $92,000, and a nice 10/- (R 2a) brought $73,600, and a consecutive pair 1927 (R 7) in UNC $62,100. The Finest Known 5 Pound 1927 (R 40) sold for an amazing $100,500! A consecutive pair of Stars (R 17s) in Ch.UNC sold for $64,400, whilst a single 1 Pound Star (R 33s) reached $39,100! IAG's Sale 65 realises Over $3.5 Million!!

Sale 65 is now completed, and is once again a "World Record Breaking Auction". A near full clearance and record prices has meant this was our most "Successful Sale Ever!!" Just a Few Sold Highlights include $197,800 for a 100 Pound 1924 (R 69a), $125,350 for a 10 pound 1918 (R 52c), and $92,575 for a 50 Pound 1918 (R 67c). Pre Decimal Coins in High Grade were extremely strong, many selling for Double Plus current catalogue prices! The highlight here was a Ch.UNC 1920 Plain Penny selling for $57,500. A Type 3 Kookaburra Penny realised $70,150, and the finest Superscribe of the National Bank brought $120,750, with a consecutive pair of UNC 1 Pound Starnotes 1953 fetching $138,000.
