| Description: Famous Freemasons complete set of 50 sterling silver Proof medallions N/D (1960s). Each coin 0.845 oz/39 mm. Privately struck by the International Fraternal Commemorative Society. Each coin depicts and commemorates the life of a famous member of the Freemasons including George Washington, Ben Franklin, Paul Revere, John Hancock, John Paul Jones, George C. Marshall, J. Edgar Hoover, John Phillip Sousa, Will Rogers, and others. Interestingly the Paul Revere medal is the Obverse doubled die variety by Jefferson Nickel designer, Felix Schlag. In five hinged cases with presentation plaque to Herman S. Maul IFCS Membership No 0288 and certificate, some with slight milky toning. Scarce. FDC |
